Why are habits so important? Especially when working from home, habits can make or break you. Some habits are good and some are not so good. Here are a few habits I’ve implemented since working from home, to keep me organized and productive. If you are a WAHM – you know easy it is to fall into that slow, exhausting slump – feeling tired and motivation-less. These are also some of the top habits that millionaires practice. Try these to jumpstart your day!
1. Create and follow a morning routine
Do you currently have a morning routine? If not, time to create one! It’s important to get started on the right foot each morning and it doesn’t have to be crazy to be a routine. Simply making your bed and doing a little skincare each morning before you wake anyone else up, can make a world of difference in how your day is going to start, carry on and end.
2. Daily meditation
Consider adding this to your morning routine! Evenings would work, too. Or whenever you can catch a breathe of air from those kid- am I right? Daily meditation is actually a life changing practice. Your mind deserves rest, gratitude and peace.
3. Create a daily to do list
Don’t go overboard with it. Write down a few simple tasks that you need to get done that day. It’s proven that writing down converts to more production! I have personally found this to be true through experience.
